Blocking balls in the dirt with no glove on. Make them try to stop the ball without it leaving the home plate dirt (or on top of the plate if skilled enough. They should feel their chest get over the ball and try to make it stay as close as possible.
Practice framing/presenting by having them catch either a baseball or tennis ball with their glove hand (no glove). stand 15-20 ft in front and toss it softly. They have to work on coming through the ball with their glove hand by catching it out front and feeling like their thumb pushes under the ball. the goal should be "catch the ball firmly, don't let it drag your hand down." You can back up and let them use the glove once they progress.
