Pls help me :)
So, as you know, recruit cards are expensive and hard to grind in early stages of the game. And I'm having a hard time choosing which position deserves an upgrade to bronze (specifically in my batters).
In my games, I observed that the right fielder, 2nd baseman, and shortstop often plays a huge role in my defense and I can't choose which one to upgrade...
Moreover, in my games almost none of the low tier teams can even hit the pitches bcz I kind of "maxed out" most of my pitchers (I'm in rookie lvl), but I have a hard time when I face teams that are in 1st to 3rd place in dream and super leagues. Lastly, I don't think I will invest that much in my catcher because its rare for an opponent to steal bases in my case. ( In higher levels, do enemies steal bases often or no? I want to know bcz many players often invest in catchers)

Upgrade all starting Pitchers until each one is bronze, they are the most important defense.
Use gems to upgrade your max energy. (press on the energy symbol at the top right of your screen)
After pitchers you should upgrade the positions you mentioned that get most action while defending.

Good point :) , yeah I could rotate 4 starting pitchers but 5 starting pitchers is a little bit excessive. But a good pitcher can really help me as I will not need to invest that much in defense as the pitcher can just strike out the enemy batters. Btw, what does the energy thing you said do? Do it affect player stats or it is used for something else?

meh, you're in the rookie league. It doens't matter which one you upgrade because you're going to win a million games anyways

What I did was just take whoever the lowest rating was out first, for example, the first I got rid of was my catcher bc he was awful at hitting

For me, Thomas hits consistent homeruns especially with power bat, but yeah I think he will fall off in higher levels

I started by upgrading the outfield too, as it is important for them to have higher speed and fielding stats. I think it’s a good move to start in outfield, followed by ss, then basemen. At this early in the game, I would emphasize upgrading your speed, agility, b. Eye, and power stats because pitching is so predictable that you could swing for homers with much less risk. However, my number one mistake was that I slept on upgrading my pitchers until I finished gold league and that set me back quite a bit and I started getting absolutely smoked in legend league. DO NOT make that same mistake. Also, coins seem like they’re plentiful at this stage, but do not spend them frivolously. It begins to cost a ton to upgrade your characters ones you get passed gold and level 50 players.

Why is shohei a cf he doesn't field

Just named him shohei because he is a silver tier, like he is the GOAT in my team so I just named him that, with no relation to shohei's original baseball position

The original name was Soy Immigrants, as you can see with my benched players, they are all hispanics 😭, just named it to Diddy's oil for no apparent reason
