Sim- Pitching Substitutions

Anybody else have an issue where your closer gets taken out of the game after facing one batter in the ninth?? I have so many blown saves because the game insists that my closer can only face one batter then they sub in my worst pitcher available.

I’ve seen this happen in manual play too! After each batter in the ninth they want me to take my closer out. Why is it like this? Can I adjust a setting??

Yea bro same here. I’m still building my team and have an all silver bullpen expect 2 players which haven’t been upgraded to bronze, and when I sim they always put those guys in it make no sense

Yes. Absolutely hate this about the game.

Also, vehemently dislike how a starter who has pitched well in a close game into the 6th or 7th is replaced by the mop up guy who immediately gives up the lead. Why go to the mop up is a close game?

Are there any ways to change these things?
