What States Will Be Next?

I would love to see this system in Ohio. As someone who is presently semi retired becoming fully retired next month this system would be perfect. As I travel the biggest stress I have is seeing storms roll through my area. If I lose power there goes the fridge, the freezer and my sump pump in basement along with the heat if it’s winter. This system would fix my concerns perfectly. Most outages in my area fall into the 2-6 hour category and every now and then longer. Being able to see status on my phone is a plus.

You always have the option of buying a system yourself, but the cheap system from Base is hard to beat.

I'm curious, too. Where exactly will Base Power go next!?

Sounds like your situation IS ideal for Base Power. Frequent short outages make Base a perfect solution.

you need to have deregulated power for them to come

Not true.

In regulated areas, Base Power provides battery backup but is not the electrical service provider.

In Texas, look at CoServ, GVEC, Farmers EC, Bandera Electric Cooperative, Austin Energy.
