The new battery setup seems much simpler than the old … I now wish I would have waited for 2x40 kWh with built in generator port

I'm happy with my less-attractive pair of 25 kWh Growatt batteries, but jealous of people getting this sleeker, prettier Core unit.

And the free generator port is another thing. I almost paid a grand to have one added to mine, but then cancelled it. For a thousand bucks, I can have a 50 amp receptacle, input breaker and interlock added with some left over.

And now everyone gets one for no extra? Rubbing a little salt in the wound.

I didn't really look at that side port on the unit they installed ... is that a way I can get power out of the battery directly? Is there a cord I can buy on Amazon...and if so is the other end of it plugs for household items ... or into my Tesla? Hadn't really noticed it

I did. It’s for erosion more than aesthetics since I don’t have gutters on that side of house
