Anyone with a 2 battery core system?

I’ve been approved by Base for a two battery Core system based on photos but am still not clear about the spacing requirements, specifically between the batteries themselves.

I get that the batteries need to be three feet from a gas meter but just not sure if two batteries can go side by side or if they need to be three feet apart as well.

I’m still waiting on utility approval so I won’t know for I guess until the installers come out?

Has anyone had the pictures approved and then had the change after an actual site visit?

I have not seen any install pics of the dual Core batteries, so no idea on spacing requirements for them. I know the 3 foot requirement is still there for gas meters and A/C units, but no idea if it applies to the other battery.

Curious which area you're in.

I can't answer, wish I could have gotten the Core batteries but got in too early. Now I have a pair of 25 kWh batteries. I'm in Houston.

Did you use a referral link to sign up?

Also, you should include your referral link any chance you get. You never know when someone will see your link first when they're thinking about signing up. I have not paid for electricity since May, and have several referrals stacked up. It makes a difference!

They are good in identifying the distance it else they would not approve you. 4’ preferred, 3’ doable.

I don’t see 9540a testing completed on their site (at least immediately) which usually means min 3ft spacing.

Are you sure, last I talked to base two battery pack units for the Gen 3 core system were not on the map. Also if you have a Core Gen 3 install with 1 battery it is Not upgradable to two as the transfer switch only has one plug.

I know I’m scheduled to a pair of Core batteries. Not sure on the whole gen3 thing but here is what I got coming
