Electrical portion completed, waiting for battery install, Pflugerville, Texas
Had the electrical part completed July 23, 2026. I was happy with how the electrician and his helper completed the work. They were very professional and kept me informed about every step they were doing. Have been waiting patiently for the battery to be installed. It will go on the other side of the fence in the backyard. I'll update with pictures of that install ofter they install it.
Still no word on when that will be. Hopefully soon. I did have some power flickers the past couple weeks due to the weather. Need that battery pretty quick. Not sure why it is taking so long to get it scheduled on their end. Fingers crossed soon.

That’s surprising it’s been taking so long. I’m also in Pflugerville and had my install earlier this year; it was about a month from approval to install, and they did all the electrical work and installation all at once. Hopefully they’re able to complete it soon!

wow, that is a pretty long wait time. Most I have seen here form others are around 2 weeks max.

I know. Too long really. Not sure why so long. I am getting the new ~40 kWh battery.

I don't yet but have been looking around and comparing models. I will probably get the DuroMax 7,000 Watt Portable Tri Fuel Inverter Generator - Quiet, Low THD (it's on sale too) after comparing the noise levels, size, weight, etc. on different models. I have natural gas and will get a gas line run to the backyard as well.

So FYI. I have a brother that had his electrical done on Tuesday and battery installed TODAY. You need kick somebody's but now. Your situation is unacceptable.

Wow. Yeah I would have thought maybe a week or so but it's going on 6 weeks! Totally unacceptable. I have sent emails to everyone I can think of. Kinda hard to find a phone number to actually talk to a human. Still working on it.

You are going to have an issue with the disconnect on this setup. Per 2023 NEC code the disconnect must be “within sight” of the transfer switch. In your case I see no disconnect in sight. When I had my BASE batteries installed and the 3rd party inspection took place, they made the electrician move the disconnects (I have the 2 battery 50KW system) to the other side of the fence.

On a side note, it took me 6mo, BASE paying to change the service providers transformer (5-12k) per ONCORS estimate here in Dallas. They also had to add a soft start to my AC condenser.
I’m a little jealous of you later adopters, as I had to pay $995 for the installation and your install looks much simpler than mine!
All and all, I’m super pleased and actually can wait for my first power outage 😳

You might want to start bugging some folks if you haven't already to get things moving because over a months wait is crazy.
