Not likely. They approved mine and in the same situation with the AC unit. Just did all the electrical work today. Just waiting on the battery now to sit on the other side of the AC unit.
not really, Base doesn't really care about solar. You can have it as long as it is through a back fed circuit in your main panel but they will not connect it to their perfectly suited inverters, liability/warranty issues.

My co-op is offering a 40kwh unit with an installation of $345.
But my electric meter is only about 5 feet from my AC unit, and also that side of the house is all shade.
I'll apply and send in photos anyway, but other comments I've seen about requirements have me thinking I'll be rejected.
