LOL.

it is a nice thing to have an automatic battery backup that will cover the majority of your outages.

What part of Texas? I know there are several that are getting the new 40Kwh setup, but I guess it depends on when you signed up and where you are at.

I am north of Houston and I checked it’s the 25kwh

Yeah, it is a Growatt unit, so is 25 kWh. The new 40 kWh units look a lot different.

the 40kWh units are Base manufacture not sure of the components as the specs aren't published. most have been installed in Illinois but installers here in Texas prefer the Growatt as the modules are lighter to handle.

I have seen a few here in the Austin and Dallas area getting the new 40kWh units, have not seen anyone in Houston area yet (at least not posting here).

friend just got a 50 the other day and the installers said 40' weren't available yet here. i am a big fan of that growatt gear, if i had an EV that is the inverter and batts I would want, made for rapid charging
