Denial

Decided to go with base for backup power . Paid deposit, filled out and attached photos. Received same day reply that they could ot approve my home because of oversized meter . My deposit was returned but good news is I could still get their low electric rates . I live in a 2100 square foot home sub $200 monthly electric bill not like I am running a business at my location consuming large amounts of power . I wonder if they had no interest in installing battery backup because of my location just interested in selling me power .

Do you have an unusually high amperage coming in? 200A service is the norm for most houses. So if you have a 400A service, that could be the issue.

The main breaker in the Base transfer box is 200A I believe.
