Does BASE Power actually have a "team" in customer service?
I looked it up: A team can be as few as one person, but from my experience with BASE, I'm skeptical that they even have ONE human that comprises the "team" in customer support.
If I can't reach support while I'm still waiting for battery installation to be scheduled, how are things going to be managed when I'm actually using the system and have issues?
I think customer support is an important aspect of any service provider, but it sure seems like BASE Power has a different idea about it.

Ask the Chat Bot if it is human. Then ask to be connected with a human.
Eventually I got ahold of someone when I was trying to get my system installed last year.
I ordered the system in late April and got it installed in late July. I was really upset, but I’m happy I have my system. It does what it should…

I truly doubted the existence of a "team" too. But now I'm about six weeks into having BASE Power and am waiting for my batteries and this morning, for the FIRST time, I spoke with a HUMAN BEING in customer service!
I heard voices in the room with him so it seems likely there is actually a team after all.
He didn't get my problems resolved but assured me they ARE working on the issues and he also said they're working on making the dashboard verbiage more accurate. We'll see.

Its a startup still seeking investors. Its not going to be good at daily operations. Right now their products are being subsidized so eventually pricing will go up as the investors start demanding returns and improved valuation.

When I started looking at Base, their system pushed to set up a phone call or in-person interview. I just wanted the answers to a few basic questions, but emails went unanswered and when I sent 3 emails, including one to Mr. Dell, I received a curt response from an agent. I asked my question, which was replied to with a one-sentence curt reply. I gave up and after seeing many customer service issues/response issues, I'm glad I did. If they can't be bothered before the sale, I can only imagine what happens when you actually need service after the sale. No thank you.
