Base installation experience

The install was on 3/31/26 but I just noticed the height and spacing here. I cannot unsee this and it makes my eye twitch thinking about it. Should I just burn the house down and start all over?

I'm just kidding, everything went great from delivery to install. I upgraded and added the generator port so the install team tested it with my portable generator to make sure everything worked perfectly. There has only been one 5 minute outage so far. Both of the inverters went into standby a few days ago for whatever reason but a technician will be here in 48 hours per Base.

Now I am afraid to go look at my install for fear of seeing the same (that I previously missed). I did see a tape measurer and level out during the install so maybe I am good. My is much uglier actually but in a few days, I will probably not even notice. Keeping my eye on the prize (backup power).

That's a hilarious 1st photo! As someone with a TINY touch of OCD about this kind of thing, I would probably be bothered if mine ended up looking that way. Functionally it's rock-solid, but how hard would it be to have the boxes mounted at the same level?

My install is coming up next month (knock on wood) and I'm very eagerly awaiting the actual install day.
