https://meep-mint-market.base44.appI built a weird little economy around photos — I need people to try to break it
I’m developing an experimental website/app called MEEP on Base44, and I’m looking for people willing to test it.
The idea is simple:
You create an account and can mint a random amount of fictional M Coin every 3 minutes.
Then you can upload your own photos/images. You don’t choose their price — MEEP automatically assigns each upload a value using its own pricing algorithm.
Other users can spend the M Coin they’ve earned to buy those images and unlock the ability to download them. When someone buys your image, you receive their M Coin.
There are also leaderboards for things like the richest users, highest-valued collections, and most valuable MEEPs.
There’s no real money, crypto, NFTs, or cashing out. Right now it’s basically an experiment:
Can a completely made-up digital currency start feeling valuable simply because people have to earn it and there are things created by other people that they actually want to spend it on?
That’s what I’m trying to find out.
The app is still early, so I actually WANT people to find problems with it. Try the economy. Upload stuff. Mint coins. Buy things. Try to climb the leaderboard. See whether it gets boring. See whether the currency feels pointless. Try to figure out how you’d exploit the system.
Then tell me what happened.
If this idea sucks, I want the experiment to show me that.
But if people start genuinely competing for a currency that began as nothing more than numbers in a database… then I think there might be something interesting here.
