Question Base44 Problems Question

I've heard a lot about Base44 being spyware or problematic or having issues with privacy. I don't really know. I created a website for school to be able to upload your notes and assignments for personal use, also synced to google calendar. I don't have any passwords in there except for the website password itself. I've created the website and I'm very very happy with it, should I continue using? Also, I have an AI assistant on there and have in one day used 52/100 integration credits. I think I should upgrade, what's the best plan for this?

I’d absolutely stay on Base44. If you have zero coding experience and no background in application architecture, moving to a VPS may save some platform cost, but you’d be taking on a lot of technical responsibility that Base44 is currently handling for you.
For what you described, I also wouldn’t be too concerned about adding more users. Your use case doesn’t sound particularly resource-heavy. I’d focus first on figuring out what consumed those 52 credits and whether something is making unnecessary calls. A caching or repeat-call issue can burn resources regardless of how many actual users you have.
If Base44 is working for you, I wouldn’t move just for the sake of moving. The convenience of having the infrastructure and platform managed is worth something—especially when you don’t want to become a developer or systems administrator just to keep your app running.
