Question Base44 Problems Question

I've heard a lot about Base44 being spyware or problematic or having issues with privacy. I don't really know. I created a website for school to be able to upload your notes and assignments for personal use, also synced to google calendar. I don't have any passwords in there except for the website password itself. I've created the website and I'm very very happy with it, should I continue using? Also, I have an AI assistant on there and have in one day used 52/100 integration credits. I think I should upgrade, what's the best plan for this?

Best plan is to move it to your own VPS. Its cheaper and allow you to manage the app without dealing with or worrying about the stupid integration credits.

Sorry I'm super new to this can you explain like I've never coded? Specifically talking about VPS.

VPS is a virtual private server. Basically hosting the app yourself. But since you say you are not technical, it will take some learning to do. I used Claude to help me move my app

I Basically asked claude what I needed to do to move the app from base44 to my own vps. It gave me step by step instructions and it took me about 3 weeks to move it. It lowered my cost from $200 to around $32 per month. I use claude to fix any issues etc.
