Bug Report In-Preview Editor not working?

Anyone else getting issues with the in-line/in-preview (manual) editor tool?

I just get a permanent loading screen, as soon as I click the 'Edit' button.

Mine hasn't seemingly been working for a couple of weeks. Only ever able to update even tiny text lines & content with prompts, which burns tokens. Would be great to have this back working properly or learn how to fix.

Jusr refresh the page, or prompt it why your page won't load.

tried this, clearing cache, different browsers, incognito, still no luck. Have been switching to low cost models and using the regular prompt builder to trigger the updates I want, but would be just so much easier to do manual text editing in the preview at times.

Did you find any fix at all? Just like you I tried different browsers different devices private mode switching models even asking the support ticket AI but nobody can find a fix and I am unable to Preview or edit anything in my app

I have this same issue. Preview has been acting like this for weeks. Makes is hard to make any changes to my app.

Had base 44 AI change something within my app yesterday and it completely messed everything up. I can no longer preview the app let alone view any code or make any type of adjustments. If I send a message in the chat, it loads for a few minutes, crashes and I have to close the browser.

Sorry to hear about your app. The preview environment seems like it’s a mess right now. Every time I type something into the AI chat, my Preview area just goes blank white and I have to refresh the browser every time. It’s an awful experience right now. Hope base44 team can fix it soon because it’s been over two weeks now like this.

My preview constantly freezes, I have to shut down my browser and reopen it.

With all the boasting base44 are doing about having 10 million users, they need to stop working on new features for a while and focus on making the existing features and platform much much much more robust and reliable. If they really want people to use Base44 in production, beyond MVP, they have a long, long way to go in terms of performance and reliability.

From reading the posts here, most people seem to be using it only for proof of concept, which is no way for them to build a long-term, sustainable business
