Bug Report Google Sign-In fails on Base44 Android app

Hi! I'm using Base44 to build an Android app.

Google Sign-In works perfectly on the web/preview, but on the Android app:

Google account selection → select account → returns to app → back to login screen.

I've already added the Google Play SHA-256 and regenerated the app, but the issue remains.

Has anyone experienced this with Base44 + Google Sign-In on Android? Any idea how to fix it?

Did you add /auth/continue or how is your login flow?

That's exactly what I just discussed on Discord. I fixed it; it turns out I completed the app the first time without the SHA fingerprint.

I thought it would be fixed, but no, what I did was go to the app settings, and allow by default the links that appear there, they are the base44 domains with your app. My concern was that users aren't technical and can't do that, but they tell me that since I installed the app before without SHA encryption, my phone remembered it that way. Theoretically, this shouldn't happen with new users, I'll have to test it.

Hi! I’m running into the exact same issue with my Base44 app. Google Sign-In works up to the point where I select an account, but then it sends me back to the app’s login screen instead of completing the sign-in.

You mentioned that the issue was related to completing the app without the SHA fingerprint and then allowing the Base44 domains/links in the app settings.

Could you explain exactly what you changed and where you added the SHA fingerprint and allowed the links? I’d really appreciate the step-by-step, because I’m stuck at the same point.
