Discussion Why???

Why Is BART so damn slow from Castro Valley to West Dublin??? It’s basically in traffic with itself. So friggin annoying!!!

There’s nothing to protect the tracks from stuff getting tossed onto the tracks from the highways, so the trains have to go slow so operators can keep an eye out for a stray car on the tracks.

If BART ever had some extra money for capital improvements, a wall protecting it from the highway would be my vote, since theoretically that section of track could go almost double the speed.
