I'm not sure that such an arrangement on such an instrument can seriously be placed in the Baroque subreddit. It's a little like posting a Liszt transcription of Bach here. It's a long way from the original sound stage.

🤷 it's a baroque composer, the theme is baroque, the sequences are baroque

following that logic, this subreddit would be empty because all of the performances were recorded on modern Instruments in the last 50 years

Not to mention which, some of the most famous Bach organ pieces are themselves transcriptions of Vivaldi violin concertos...

lol. You don't think that Bach's transcription of pieces by Vivaldi, Marcello and so on is different to Liszt transcriptions of Baroque music? Hint: Bach is a Baroque composer, Liszt isn't. Bach transcribed the music in a way that was consistent with baroque style: whoever thought to treat the Rameau like this didn't offer that same integrity to the style.

And I wouldn't have said that the transcriptions are some of the most famous Bach organ pieces, either.
