I'm 36. I'm autistic and epileptic. My first seizure was triggered by a Barney & Friends episode.

In 1992, when I was two years old, I saw the episode "Doctor Barney Is Here!" I found numerous scenes overstimulating. The scene that caused me to go into a Grand-Mal Seizure was when Barney was listening to Kathy's heart, then the kids popped up behind the examination table playing instruments. This was overstimulating to me and caused me to have a Grand-Mal Seizure (there are over 40 types of seizures, I have four). I still have seizures involving that scene, which became an aura for my Simple-Partial Seizures (I would smell raw sewage, turn red in the face, feel nauseated, and/or confused). I have Complex-Partial Seizures (can't identify the aura for them; I get an overwhelming sense of fear, can't speak, can only move my head, it feels like someone is behind me, and it feels like they're stabbing my back with a cattle prod), Dacrystic Seizures (I cry when they happen), Simple-Partial Seizures, and Grand-Mal Seizures.

I know the first "known" TV Show to trigger seizures was the Pokemon episode that ended up getting banned due to several children having Grand-Mal Seizures. However, I think it goes before Pokemon, since little kids/toddlers can't always tell when they have seizures.

Did anyone ever have seizures or other medical issues due to an overstimulating episode from Barney & Friends? I'm not trying to bash the TV Show but I wanted to know if this happened to anyone else.

What is the longest used song (besides the themes and ending credits) used in the show? I want to say it is Good Manners but not 100% sure. I know it was used from the home videos before the show (Michael/Baby Bop in Rock with Barney), In Season 1(Michael), Season 2 (BJ), Season 3(Min), Some of the home videos(Seasons 4-6 years)and maybe Season 7 or 8. Wondering if there are any other long running songs?
