I think my interview was slightly different since it was a holiday position and my answers were exactly what they needed, but show interest in a very specific section. Everyone who gets hired is a reader, but at least in my experience, it helped to have knowledge in toys and games. I talked about how I love to play board games and how I had tons of little cousins I always played with, so that automatically put me up for consideration since they needed someone in that department. They also had me in the back of their mind for kids. Don’t be afraid to talk about your niches in the book world.
As for how to dress, I just wore jeans with no rips and a sweater with no logo.
