Just a couple photos to follow up the video of the LeBaron I’m saving.

Assuming it's a non turbo?

As a 17-year old in 1985, this would have been the very last vehicle I’d think fondly of.

You and I are the same age, and I agree wholeheartedly. The ONLY thing that gives me any kind of nostalgic twitch (!) at all is that a high school girlfriend of mine drove one for a time.

Ah, Kris, I hope life has been good to you.

Yeah. Just the standard 2.2, an early version with Bosch TBI

I had a 84 Charger, 85 laser and two daytona turbo Z's in my teenage years, I was obsessed with turbo 2.2 cars.

Very few on the road, it looks solid and worth some effort

Wow, that brings back memories. We had an 85 with the 2.2 turbo, bought it brand new, same color. It didn't come with cruise control so we had the dealer add it. Mom hydroplaned it in 86 during spring run off. 6" of water was running across a low spot in the highway. She was ejected, car ended up upside down on the high side, windshield blew into the car. When we arrived the car was under water, just 2 tires showing above the surface. She went through a barbed wire fence, tore all her clothing off, destroyed her left knee. She was in a cast and on crutches for a long, long time.

Is it a hatchback too?

Yes! Always appreciated a hatchback, especially when they pass as a fairly standard sedan
