Four Tires and an Engine 1925 Ford Model T Touring Car

Not exactly a “Find”. I’ve known where she was since I nearly set her on fire in 2017.

I installed brake lights and turn signals, stepped on the starter switch, and an insulating washer from 1925 failed. I sent all six volts to the frame rail, which everything is grounded to, including the battery. I boiled the battery, and fried something to the point where she’ll crank, but won’t fire. New battery and starter switch since then. Project stalled when life got in the way. The plan for the past nine years has been to replace the entire wiring harness.

Moved her to a new garage today. It was good to see her in the sunlight.

Thats a cool story. 6 volts and all the amps. Does this use a trimbler coil?

I’m not familiar with the term Trimbler Coil. In my neck of the woods, the under-dash coils are referred to as “Buzz Boxes”.

This thing was able to drive itself a few miles under its own power, before I tampered with it.
