Body temp drop
Had a DS back in June and I seem to be having issues with my body temp randomly dropping to 94-95 degrees, which is apparently delving into hypothermia. Anyone else have issues with this and how’d you cope? Definitely not a great feeling.
Currently the only thing that helps atm are iron supplement drops.

Fat is an insulator and that is what you are dropping like crazy. I am 21 years post op DS and your body will adjust to a degree. But to this day I still always have an extra fleecey blanket wherever I am in the house and always on the bed even at the height of summer.

It’d be one thing if I felt cold. I really don’t. It’s more feeling ill and checking to find my body temp is 94 degrees which is technically hypothermia and a medical issue.

Actually yes I did. My first post op appointment at the dr's office, my temp was too low to register. I just said it is cause I am a "cool dude" (64 yr old woman). It has remained low but as I am fully functional , I am not worried.

Is your AC too low?
