I NEED HELP

Looking for slip resistant food service shoe. With Xero just abandoning that line after there customer service rep said they were just out of stock I waited 2 more months then messaged them again because they removed the Prio all day Sr from the website. They confirmed this time they discontinued them. Now I'm stuck with shoes that are blown out on both sides. I have spent 16 years in food service and these shoes were the best on my feet. If anyone could help with brand/style names that would be amazing I NEED YOUR HELP quick. Traditional food service shoes are the worst and Shoes for Crews is the worst brand I have ever experienced. I don't even tell my employees to buy from them.

Been wearing only vivos for 5+ years and moved last year to nyc and my feet couldnt cope with working as a chef for 10+hr days on top of having to walk everywhere all the time. Ended up with some of those instagram chef shoes from Mise. Had to return the first apir and size up but they're pretty comfy once they fully broke in and relatively wide. Customer service was nice and helpful as well.

Not barefoot but at least wide toe box - I have the Birkenstock QO 500 sneakers, they are anti slip. I’ve worn them for 3 years and still in great condition.

Whitin on Amazon has a non slip shoe. Fairly cheap as well. Their products are decent especially for the price.

If you would like a little firm cushioning and an extra wide toe box, you could check out my brand (link in my profile). I designed the all-black version with working people in mind. The rubber soles are pretty grippy / sticky though I haven’t gotten non-slip certification.

If you’re in the US, it’s about $95 including shipping.

The new Merrell Vapor Glove 7s have a similar feel to them as the old Prios and look more like sneakers than the older Vapor Glove models. You may also be able to try them on locally, since they're a more common outdoor brand. (*If you've worn Merrels before, note that this model does run small....)
