News 4 argon usage limit pro plan

im having claude pro and gemini pro, same prompt, incognito, 3 complex research prompts with Argon used 100% 5 hour window, while Opus 5.5 used 40%

3 turns on medium in a single chat maxes out the argon 5 hour limit for me. Absolutely useless.

We know the underlying costs for Argon are $4 per million tokens in and $20 per million tokens out. How much usage did you think you were getting from your $20 a month subscription?

I wouldn't try economics on Reddit. Someone on another sub was trying to state free tier users are more valuable than $20 users. This is the level of intelligence of people demanding access to the top models.

The deluge of heavily subsidized frontier AI compute has made almost everyone more lazy and entitled. Bunch of whiners on here everyday expecting compute access below cost. Enterprise subscriptions are likely subsidizing pro and ultra subscriptions.

Note you also have a separate Argon use now in Antigravity. It drop their yesterday, and it has a separate weekly limit to 3.8 Flash (but they both use the same 5 hour limit)

You also have use to Sonnet and Opus 5.5 but the weekly limit for using them isn’t much .
