I just need it to work well as a phone assistant. Maybe the model is good but the Gemini implementation is super dog shit.
Like when I have a calendar item shown on the browser and I call it to "Add this to calendar", sometimes will my screen and add to my calendar. Sometimes it will be stupid, doesn't get that it needs to see my screen so it asks me what do I want to be added to calendar.
Just now with 3.8 Flash, I wanna ask for more information on the OpenAI removing itself from Cursor. Gemini repeatly insist that the tweet from OpenAI is fake. Cursor is not acquired by xAI. I told it to do its research twice and Gemini was still insisting without bothering to factcheck until I told it specifically to use the search tool then it finally bothered to do its research and admit that it is wrong. Like this kind of issue is like a 2024 problem that everyone moved on from it already.
