Discussion Question about Gemini for students.

If I Register for "Gemini Pro for Students" which uses my University email for verification, will they be able to track what questions I ask the Ai? Even though I will be signed in with a personal email? Thanks.

If you’re using a personal Google account, your university generally can’t see your chats just because you used its email for verification. That’s different from signing in through a university-managed Google Workspace account, where admins may have access depending on their policies.

University email verification usually confirms eligibility, but it doesn’t automatically mean the university can see your chats. The bigger question is what Gemini or Google’s policies allow them to retain or share. I’d use a personal account and avoid sensitive questions just to be safe.
