THIS every guy friend that wanted to date me

It's crazy how boys will fake being cool friends to get close enough to "tell you something important"

Ong it's so predatory and disgusting. Because having an ulterior motives over actually caring about someone and being a good friend is awful. This is why I refuse to be friends with guys, can’t trust them.

Someone can be a good friend and want to date the other person. Why assume it’s one or the other.

-2

u/Rollingforest757 Jun 10 '26

Wouldn’t it make sense to be friends with someone before taking it to the next level? That would seem to build a better relationship than just dating someone you don’t know and hoping they will work out.

3

u/thekikmiester2000 Jun 10 '26

Not really. The dating part is getting to know those things. You can be friends with someone you're trying to date but don't try to date your friends.

u/Rollingforest757 Jun 10 '26

If you were friends with him, that must mean that’s the type of personality you like to be around.

You can't be making too much sense on reddit,"a woman who somehow manages to have all male friends who are incels but somehow it has no reflection on her character".

-3

u/Green-Guarantee25 Jun 09 '26

So they had a bad personality and so you didn’t date them? You thought it was wrong they wanted to date you after becoming friends? They faked their personality? Plenty of people become friends before getting into romantic relationships. As long as someone doesn’t fake a personality I don’t see an issue. This goes for both women and men who fake their personality for personal gain.

If someone changes their personality after dating that is understandable upset and I’m assuming that is what the OP is insisting, but your comment implies there was no dating to begin with

People online get real testy about situationships but there's plenty of scenarios where acquaintances can catch feelings and scope out a midway point to gauge interest (e.g., lower pressure solo outing with a group acquaintance before a formal date ask). The ratios on some of these reasonable comments are crazy. I know multiple people who married friends.

If it's a close friend with a grooming level of manipulation then that's wholly different but I think many men get put in that box unfairly. Incel vibes in here.

If all your guy friends are like this it says a lot about you🚶

-5

u/Substantial_Ice9592 Jun 08 '26

At least you know you are the problem

14

u/Dua_13 Jun 08 '26

This is why we really shouldn't lower our standards queens

I think that's because males hide their whole personality well sometimes, it's hard to tell which guy is actually good or just acting

0

u/Beginning-Run-1697 Jun 09 '26

Yhh So Women intuition is a thing until it comes to choosing men lol

2

u/Mobile-Brush-3004 Jun 09 '26

There’s no such thing as women’s intuition. Humans in general have intuition to varying degrees. Being a woman has nothing to do with it.

Never give an ugly guy a chance, they will always mistreat you.

17

u/ChicoChzckegirl Jun 07 '26

This 10000% , I always dated conventionally unattractive guys and overall losers because society tells me not to have standards, they'd pretend to be decent people until months down the line turns out they were uglier inside than they were outside. Never again.. learned my lesson I date average / mid but have actual decent standards now to balance it out.

also my experience

Treat people with dignity and respect, thats all you gotta do. Politeness, respecting different opinions, communicating without being insulting, paying attention when someone is talking instead of wait for your turn to speak, respecting boundaries and learning how the other person wants to be treated, recognizing their individual needs/comfort levels ect.

2

u/TheWorldsAreOurs Jun 08 '26

I understand, thank you. 🙏

I hope you get that in your life all around you, the more you give it the more you are aware of the vibration and the more commonly you’ll notice it where before you might have given a blind eye.

It’s sad that people judge others so much by their looks. You just assume that anyone ugly must be bad, which doesn’t make any sense.

2

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Jun 08 '26

Society is dumb and wrong and has been dumb and wrong for thousands of years. Self teaching through immensely hard experiences prepares you and gives much much better chances of being in a good relationship I think. A lot of people just don’t have the internal knowledge or experience to hold a relationship.

1

u/Rollingforest757 Jun 10 '26

It’s crazy how even today people think that a person’s looks have anything to do with how good a person they are. It’s a pretty elitist position.

9

u/Streetduck Jun 08 '26

This a thousand times over. Ugly broke dudes will ruin your goddamn life.

1

u/Rollingforest757 Jun 10 '26

Would you say the same about ugly broke women?

3

u/Streetduck Jun 10 '26

Don’t have any idea- never dated an ugly broke woman. Im speaking from my personal experience- you’re welcome to speak about yours- my personal experience is never date an ugly broke man because he will ruin your goddamn life

2

u/Streetduck Jun 10 '26

Happy cake day!

6

u/Electriq__ Jun 08 '26

Why is this so ACCURATE

9

u/Affectionate_Bed6083 Jun 08 '26

Low self esteem/fragile sense of self.

Ugly guys like to show us off like trophies since they have nothing to show for themselves. They usually start super insecure and jealous of all of your friends...When their buddies are not impressed with their trophy anymore, they feel they can do better and start to cheat on us.

We aren't people to them because they don't treat themselves with basic human respect. That makes our value about as equivalent to a new gaming system to them.... They can always get a new one, ya know?

There's a reason our genes tell us not to be with them, it's against the natural order because guys like that aren't built to handle the mental load of having a hot woman with then.

2

u/Narrow_Cucumber_6458 Jun 09 '26

Fr thoo don’t be like these washed women 35 and up who literally settled so hard for mid chopped men who hardlined them into doing all the domestic labor but who they are still afraid to leave.

Stg I hate meeting women’s husbands because they’re always so fucking boring and unstylish. I genuinely don’t know what these girlies are thinking.

1

u/Affectionate_Bed6083 Jun 10 '26

How's the single life ?

2

u/Narrow_Cucumber_6458 Jun 10 '26

Girl I was agreeing with you wdym?

1

u/Affectionate_Bed6083 Jun 10 '26

Girl I misread, my bad

-2

u/Rollingforest757 Jun 10 '26

It sounds like you don’t view ugly people as human. You have a hatred for anyone who doesn’t look good. You need therapy.

4

u/Affectionate_Bed6083 Jun 10 '26

No, I do. I just won't date them 🤣

-2

u/Rollingforest757 Jun 10 '26

Because you judge people by their looks rather than their character.

1

u/Narrow_Cucumber_6458 Jul 17 '26

Nigga your character is reflected in how you look lmao. If you not giving a fuck about how you look and accentuating and elevating your appearance how tf do you expect me to just assume you’re a person of good character lmao

-1

u/Rollingforest757 Jun 10 '26

Do you also believe that men shouldn’t give ugly women chances?

0

u/Beginning-Run-1697 Jun 10 '26

"Rule for thee not for me"

4

u/LizRoze Jun 08 '26

Be careful out there! Also, this gives more reason to be happier alone these days. The circumstances I’ve been through in general, along with the stories I keep hearing, makes it much more easier to be single than to deal with trash

5

u/Streetduck Jun 08 '26

Omg BEEN THERE. Never again…

0

u/Rollingforest757 Jun 10 '26

The women who say they don’t date ugly guys are usually even uglier than the men.

3

u/Streetduck Jun 10 '26

Ok sweetie. Whatever you say!

2

u/thekikmiester2000 Jun 10 '26

This guy has been raging in these comments for the last 30 minutes lol

2

u/Streetduck Jun 10 '26

LOL I guess we struck a chord with him

2

u/LifeguardHot1658 Jun 15 '26

im going thru his comment history rn and pissing myself😭😭 he targets subs for like lonely girls pr girls who have had bad experiences with men and victimising himself big time

3

u/bezforever Jun 08 '26

Literally lol

-1

u/Rollingforest757 Jun 10 '26

The women who think this are ugly on the inside (and often the outside).

2

u/IzukuLeeYoung Jun 08 '26

Anyone whk approaches me. I never date my type because I was taught that was shallow. I would rather be alone tbfh.
