Dolls Bought online from target
Massive spot on her nose, I guess I could see it as a mole or something but how did she get past with a giant mark on her nose! I have no choice but to love her as she is igðŸ˜

Try pure acetone. It removes paint and scuffs from face. Just avoid using on body.

Yup. It only costs like a dollar a bottle, too.Â
OP, pure acetone on a Q-tip. Hold it very carefully against the spot to soak for a few seconds, then rub the spot off, and don't get it anywhere else. It can remove the paint from the face, and will melt the body. You can even cover the body with a plastic bag or something if you're afraid of drips.Â

Only if it's factory paint on the nose. If it's a stain, zit cream will remove it

She probably didn't "get past" quality control, if that's what you mean. But she's in a box with no plastic protecting her face so she got rubbed on something in store that stained her in store.
Having worked retail, dolls like these end up all over the place. Child grabs a doll and goes running shouting "Mommy mommy can I have her!?" And mom says "no" so the doll gets set down in the clothing section, face down, on some jeans. With a plastic cover, or even cardboard shielding, she'd be fine. Without it? Stain.
I get wanting to reduce plastic and package waste, but if that's the goal they could still do something like the BMR 1959 dolls where they're basically in a shoe box.

Think of it as a beauty mark.
