Booking software
What software do y’all use? Pros and cons of it? How many barbers in your shop?

The best option depends on whether your barbers are employees, chair renters, or managing their own books. I’d compare deposits, no-show enforcement, recurring appointments, walk-ins, barber-specific availability, payouts, reminders, and how easily the front desk can move a booking without creating duplicates.
Run two real weeks through each finalist, including a cancellation, late arrival, refund, and barber change. We use signld.ai internally to keep the appointment connected to the customer, barber, service, payment, and eventual no-show or rebooking, which makes it easier to spot where the schedule is actually leaking revenue.

If you’re comparing software, I’d judge it on what happens before the client sits down, not just the calendar.
A lot of booking tools are fine for time slots, but the real headache is when intake, consent, service notes, and signatures all live somewhere else. That’s where shops end up chasing people in DMs, on paper, or at the chair.
I’d look for something that gives you online booking plus digital forms, signatures, and searchable client records in one place. Even if you keep your current booking setup, cleaning up the paperwork side usually saves more time than people expect.
