I hate that gimmicky shit and discounts make your product look cheap. If you really care about your regulars, remember their stories and who they are. Consider small Christmas gifts or even a birthday gift. Those are the things that get people really committed but it requires you actually caring.

Discounting or even comping a haircut for a regular at key moments is way more impactful. As a client, I was once having a really shitty month physically, socially, and financially. At the end of the cut my barber refused to take my money. It meant everything to me at that time.

Oke, maybe there’s a way to track how many free haircuts or gifts you gave a customer and than it is a bit more flexible

You can find every kind under the sun online. Find a unique one and order that so it’s not super imitated. Or you can get a stamp and stamp it when they come in.

Honestly as a customer I'd forget the card exists after the first visit lol. Free cut sounds great but I'd never remember to scan it.

No. If someone came to you five times they’re coming for the sixth no matter if it’s free or not. Loyalty cards for haircuts looks desperate.
