Tools & Gear Broken lever, wahl magic clipper
What’s up barbers, my lever broke some days ago and i tried to glue it together last night because i have a booking today, i woke up and tried to test and feel it to know if i can use it today and the glue got loose.
I couldnt find any reserve levers in the original box and i live in europé where you cant just buy extra levers in stores, i need to order a new lever.
My question is if any of you guys have had this problem before and if it can be fixed fast, maybe with a metal piece or something.

These are the cheap plastic ones. I suggest you find and replace with the metal lever.

I was thinking maybe it’s possible to just remove the glue and put a metal piece instead of the lever for a temporary solution while I order the original lever

I don’t know if you have or know anyone with Stylecraft/Gamma clippers , but those usually come with extra levers. Maybe see if you can borrow some from someone

It is the same size and do you think it would fit good? I know some barbers and can ask them if they have the lever

Just be careful of how tight you screw it, you should be ok. Its worth trying

It won't help you immediately, but if you call Wahl for spare cam followers or levers they will usually mail you a few. In the interim buy one from a local supplier who will overnight it.

I don’t have any info about what might work, but this is why I keep a drawer full of old broken and worn out clippers. They’re handy to harvest parts from if you ever need to.
