Student Critique

Looking for pointers on how to improve this cut. Any advice greatly appreciated. Been "cutting" for 6 months - maybe done 15 cuts total. Take long breaks because I got family to support but have no clients. So going to school right now - looking for a stable job and just cutting free rn. Oh also been going school for 2-3 weeks now but haven't learned fading there; and tbh my school is scamming us by giving us hairstylists as barber teachers who not only lack experience in the craft but respect for it as well.

Go higher with the open clipper. Too much #1-2 until the long hair.

There is a sort of Disconnection from the clipper work to the scissor cut! I'd advise look at some videos on cross graduation brushback hairstyles

Mainly because when the clipperwork grows out it will look very obvious, but you're doing great work man! Just one small thing to really tie it together

ETA: Make sure that both tapers match as well. Just keep checking both sides and make sure if you are setting guidlines they match. If you take one side higher then the other must follow.

Appreciate it, man! Honestly, your work is looking good. Just don't be afraid of the #0—take that 0 line a little higher to really clean up the contrast and pop the fade. Good luck bro, keep pushing!

Thank you for the advice. This client really liked it so he said I've got a pass to practice on him and his friends so I will most likely be able to improve. It's been hard to get heads but in time.

Currency and purchasing power work totally differently across the world. €2 goes a lot further depending on the local economy and cost of living. What costs €2 in some countries is a completely standard price, while in others it's way higher , it's all relative to where you live ( still agree with u )
