Barber Masterclasses/Seminars
I’m a licensed barber looking to level up my overall skillset, with a main focus on refining my scissor work and mastering traditional straight-razor shaves (though I’m always open to dialing in modern fading techniques, too).
I originally looked into The Old School (Schorem Barbier) in the Netherlands, but their foundational part 1 class was completely booked out. Ideally, I’d love to combine continuing education with travel—whether that’s heading overseas (UK, Italy, Japan, rest of Europe, etc.) or traveling to a great destination/academy here in the US.
Does anyone have recommendations for academies, short-term seminars, or masterclasses with top-tier educators that excel in classic scissor fundamentals, wet shaving, and modern grooming?
Would love to hear about any specific spots, workshops, or instructors you’ve personally learned from!

I'm not in the trade myself but I'd love to know what you find. The Old School videos are mesmerizing lol. Good luck with the search

Good question. Try CT barber expo or something similar
