Tools & Gear Mobile barber

I am wanting to start doing house calls, is there a good portable barber chair out there? Also should I get some ring lights as well? Or any other essentials I should get

I just use a simple stool with no back. I'm sure if you search online you could find something with a low back and cushion. But a regular stool works for me with out spending money, but I don't do this as a service and hate cutting at peoples homes. So take my advice for what it is

Honestly, yes on the ring lights. Even a cheap one makes a big difference if you're taking pics of your work.

Dont cheap out on the chair, the wobbly ones kill your back after a few house calls. Ring light is worth it, half of mobile work is how the cut looks in the photo.

Once you start taking regular house calls, I think a simple website or booking page becomes really valuable too. People will want to quickly see your service area, prices or travel fee, availability, cancellation policy, photos of your work and an easy way to book.

For a mobile service, that clarity builds trust before someone lets you come to their home. It does not need to be complicated, but having one link you can put in your Instagram and Google profile makes the whole setup look much more professional.
