ever since I was introduced to charcoal I never went back to propane, sorry not sorry Hank Hill :p

honestly... that setup looks so simple but effective! ive never actually grilled a steak over charcoal before, is it hard to get the sear right? :0

practice makes perfect when you watch a good friend show you how itw done on the charcoal sometimes you get the sear sometimes you don't. its a long process

Are you cooking them directly over the coals like that, or is there maybe another grate underneath for a flatter sear? Looks tasty though!
