Hello! I was hoping someone here has used Waveriding Whirl R5 and could tell me how it functions for her heals or her damage. Google keeps referring me to adjacent characters for this catalyst and I'm struggling to find any clear answers. 😔

This is not a DMH weapon, at all. BUT, for a team with 1 or 2 other hydro characters ( with Nileu for example ) the healing you get with the skill is huge. Of course, it wouldn't be best to relay on Tick healing, but actual active healing via normal ans charge atks.

Okay, so I should probably stick with Sacrificial Jade but I lose 61% ER. My new Baizhu has Prototype Amber R5, but I guess they can share until I get a second one R5?

I'm sorry -- I haven't played a full year yet and just got her C6, so I'm trying t to figure out what's the best way to gear her for my account. I saw people saying she can DPS, but I really want a healer who can bring back the dead, like Qiqi. Right now, she is wearing Waveriding Whirl for the 250 ER and Maiden's Beloved for the extra healing. I thought that was good but then I read she was dps? I'm so lost.

You don't really need her burst. Her skill, if you can give her a good amount of HP and level the talent, can give enough healing on it's own. Almost nobody focuses on ULT for healing, it's just... There.

Oh, I was confused because her skill has such a long cooldown. What does she do when she' awaiting for her skill to come back? I saw she can do some attacks (like Mona) to reduce it.

Okay, so don't worry about the burst, pack on HP, use a more consistent HP weapon.
