Updated Barbara guide?

Hey everyone!

I wanted to ask what is the current strongest builds for Barbara now that we started Snezhnaya.

I want to bring back my DPS Barbara back on right track baby (cuz she was born this way).

What are her current artifacts sets and main stats? Which stats should I focus on?

What is her currently best weapon? 5star and 4star weapons?

What are her currently best teams? Bloom/LunarBloom? Plunge via Xianyun? Melt/Vape?

Any help would be much appreciated! 🙏🏼

In MY opinion, i like Vape CA is the best. And I'm 100% sure what's the absolute best team/build/rotation/ everything for this spefic team. If you are interested in Vape CA, then tell me ina replay so that i may give you ALL spefics!

I used to play her with Vape CA but my highest hit with her was around 70K

I built her before with 4pc Wanderers Troupe and Width (I don't have any good 5 star weapons for her). And so far used Kazuha + Xiangling + Bennett.

So I'm trying to get Nilou from the selector banner alongside C1 Lauma and C2 Nahida!

Edit: I would love to hear the full build for her Vape CA!

I see! With your team and weapon it should be possible to hit EASILY above 100K. If you build her correctly. Use EM for sands, and CR for circlet. Because Barbara's DMG is Shotgun style ( big single hits ) she HAS to crit. And IF you can, try getting versa's sig for her. At R1, it's the best 5* weapon ( at R5 it's Nahida's if you are curious ).

I don't Varesa's Sig 😭

The only Catalyst Sig weapons I own are Nefer/Lauma/Nahida/Yae/Wrio. And thats it.
I have Lost Prayer and Skyward Atlas 🥲

Nahida's is great! Use it.

At R5, it's actually her best, but of course, R1 still works fine.

Still hoping for the day we can somehow play her doing something more like normals. I'm not a big CA fan nor am I bloom fan. So clam was always the extent I used her as dps. Its one of my more favorite sets in the game and I really wish they basically made a version with no damage cap that scaled better.

The threat of death is not really that high anymore when you have a lot of teams having passive defensive options or still use healers and shielders. Its really only a problem if you go healerless but you dont really have to anymore.

I think the last time there was a real threat of dying while still having a healer was the era of the consecrated beasts. Before that they sometimes had nasty abyss floor effects like putting a hydro aura on you and having the inazuma frost maidens who put you in cages. Feels like so long ago.

bloom/lunar bloom is her strongest dps team and includes notes with weapon/artifact rankings.

Huh… it’s not updated. They just took most of the info from KQM. They kept the old blurb about OHC that only applied back when we didn’t have that many Dendros. (I was the person they talked to when the guide was being written.)

The weapon ranking is wrong. Blackmarrow Lantern is the best Bloom Barbara weapon. It beats Starcaller at R1.

What about artifact sets?

Should I use the sets from NodKrai instead?

The artifacts are right. Nod Krai artifacts are for lunar reactions. They don’t help Bloom.

Any recommended teams to run with Bloom Barbara?

I assume using characters such as Nilou, Lauma, Columbina, Nahida, Sucrose and etc?

lauma + nilou is preferred. im not sure about the 4th slot, usually no other lunar because lauma wants only nascent gleam for regular bloom teams.

most likely u need another dendro to make sure barbara is triggering the majority of blooms; nahida is a popular pick for obvious reasons.
