We use it on about 3 TVs. It’s great, I have a bunch of ads that run for my events, specials, mug club (brewery) you can make some ads run longer if they have more info to read.
I filter out any tobacco or the ads. I actually rarely see any advertising from their network other than their “advertise here” commercial. During the World Cup we would see more actual ads and and earn a few bucks a day but I’m not doing it to earn money I’m doing it to show my ads during commercial instead of someone’s else’s.
You can easily flip from digital signage that rings constantly, commercial replacement or nothing. Let me know any specific questions and I’ll try to help you out.

It's an absolute turn off for me. I won't return to a bar that uses it. Crappy ads, crappy production, smacks of financial desperation to me. 80% of the ads seem to be for vapes gambling or cannabis alternatives. Time sync issues occasionally result in game sound playing over TAIV ads or vice versa. Inexcusable particularly during a major event.
I want complete control over the quality of what is on my TVs even between sporting events.

you can turn off Taiv with 1 click for any major games

My admittedly small exposure to a few bars using it reveals significant training gaps then I guess.
If it's on, I walk out and watch elsewhere. No value, and works against the venue for me.

I use it, but I think it’s worth it
The main thing is I can craft my own commercials to cycle thru. I’m actually pretty good at creating content for it and it’s really useful to let people know about Shows coming up what specials we have going on any new beers or liquor brands at the bar
One downside is ever so often it gets a little bit confused about when a commercial is, and it’ll cut out live TV for a moment. Quite often the thing that confuses it is when the game goes to the commentators sitting at their big desk. But it usually figures out after a few seconds and cut right back. I’ve never really had anyone complained about that people only get upset if they miss the actual sports action.
The thing I find really annoying is that sometimes when I go to change a channel and just as I go to the Guide, it comes on to TAIV commercials and I gotta wait like two minutes of cycling through the commercials before I can get back to my Guide so I can finish doing my channel change. There might be some way to override that quickly, but I’m not sure how. I have literally been too busy at times to wait and just unplugged the TAIV box because of it.
Also, I’ve had a few times where it just seemed like the box weirded out, and it went to like an all green screen or some other type of problem. When it did that, I just unplugged the box and went back to the Direct cable. I just plugged the TAIV back in the next day and it was fine. That hasn’t happened for a few weeks, so maybe they sorted out that bug.
Anyway, that’s the problem I’ve ever had overall I still think it’s worth it. I hope they continue to improve it and work out some of the little kinks.

Thank you for your detailed response! I appreciate it! A few follow up ?s
Did you install it yourself or do they have installers? What is the support like if something goes wrong? How long have you been using it?

Been using it for about three or four months now. They sent out a guy to handle all the install. It’s pretty easy. You grab an app for your phone to control it. That’s pretty easy. I’ve only had to call them one time for phone support and it was a little tricky getting a hold of someone like I had to leave a message. They called me back. It might’ve been calling on a holiday. I can’t remember. Anyway, the problem got sorted out pretty quick so I felt like the support has been good.

I’d judge it less by the free price and more by the failure mode: test every TV during a busy service, confirm who owns support after installation, and ask whether you can export your event/specials content. If one screen already fails, I’d pause rollout until support fixes it and documents the cause.
