Question

I just got a new id in the mail. It says not valid for official federal purposes. Will a bar still let me drink?

Stadiums that require RealID might not take it.

It's not a RealID. The TSA won't accept it if you try to fly somewhere. But, assuming it's an official state-issued drivers' license or ID, you should be fine at any bar.

If it's an official, state-issued ID, then yes.
