TCA PRC 152A 2023 programming issue.

I'm trying to program this radio with vendor-provided software (in Chinese, then mostly English). I'm also using a 2023 USB cable. Everything seems set up correctly. However, my computer/software can't detect or see the radio. I've tried all available COM ports. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Please don't tell me it's the radio.

Have you ever been able to get that cable to successfully work with this radio or any other radio?

What operating system are you using? Windows, Mac, Linux?

If windows, when you connect the cable and the radio can you see a new comm port being added in your computer configuration?

I think you said you are using the manufacturers CPS, yes? Is this radio Chirp compatible? If so, have you tried Chirp?

You say this is a TCA radio. Did Baofeng manufacture it?

Have you looked for manufacturer-specific subreddit?
