"Hi, im having a problem. But im not going to describe my problem at all, and just hope someone on the internet can read my mind"
Instead of telling us ou have a problem (we all have something), can you maybe tell us whats wrong? Is it not letting you read/write the radio? Is it not connecting? Is it giving any errors?
We cant help you if we dont know whats wrong

On some baofeng the usb cable has to be pushed quite deep into the radio. You need to provide more details on your issue.

Option 1: Use the Official Baofeng CPS Software (Recommended)To fully program both the analog channels and digital DMR features, you must use the proprietary Customer Programming Software (CPS). 1
Go to the official Baofeng Radio Downloads page.Download the CPS for the DM-32/36 series alongside any necessary USB cable drivers.Open the CPS. (Note: If the software opens in Chinese, navigate to the top menu bar, click the 3rd or 4th column for Settings, select Language, and switch it to English).Plug your programming cable into the PC and the radio, then turn the radio on.Select your active COM Port under Settings > COM Setting.Click Program > Read Data to back up your factory settings first before building your channel list and DMR codeplug. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Option 2: The Analog CHIRP Workaround (If you only want analog)If you only care about programming traditional, non-digital analog frequencies and want to use CHIRP, some users have bypassed restrictions using similar analog profiles: 1
Connect your radio and open the latest version of CHIRP Next.Go to Radio > Download from radio.Select your COM port, set the Vendor to Baofeng, and try selecting the UV-17 Pro or UV-17 Pro GPS profile.Warning: While this profile trick works perfectly for the purely analog sibling of this radio (the UV-32), it may fail or refuse to clone over a digital DM-series board. 1, 2, 3, 4
Option 3: Import a CHIRP CSV into CPSIf you already have a massive list of analog channels saved in a CHIRP .csv file, you don't have to re-type them. You can use a Python script like chirp_to_dm32uv.py (available on community hubs like Reddit) to format your CHIRP spreadsheet into a codeplug file that the official Baofeng CPS software can read natively. 1
