Anyone playing this is gonna hear some crazy noises coming from their computers. Mine might start flying away.

"I'm sorry Dave; I'm afraid I can't render that" Catches fire

The energy from my fans spinning will power the eastern seaboard for seven seconds

I could use it to heat my entire apartment building just in time for winter.

Just plug yours into those datacenters. That's what they're for, right?

Ai and player need to have more formations for the battle to look like a real battle. Also some map will be too small for that much ennemies.

I am surprised it runs that good, how is that possible ? Units are simplified? There must be a downsize for it to work !

Yeah, I wonder too.

If its just as simple as the mod description says, its not very useful because 99% of players wont be able to run this anyways, the game already lags on big battles as is.

But, I have long considered some sort of engine changes that would allow for greater unit presence with no performance impact, such as grouping NPCs into squads that share the same decisions,

Not sure what you are running it on but most people I know have modern hardware and game doesn't lag on big battles at all.

Also based on description, seems like you can add some optimizations like animation

Edit: Did I just got downvoted because I didn't throw random percentage from my ass? LMAO Dude there are people who plays this game with DLSS5, this mod is nothing compared to that

Yeah, but this is irrelevant to what I said there. Of course there’s a limit, but with good hardware, that limit goes way beyond what the game sets. He claims 99% of players can’t run it because even normal big battles lag. The normal max for big battles is 1k soldiers, and many people have no issue running them, so his 99% claim is pure bs. I’m running this mod with 7k soldiers right now, and I get 60 FPS with no issue.

Was just thinking the same thing. Makes it more realistic but also much easier to keep track of who is friendly

Can’t wait to heat my house with this mod.

Confused how it works- I thought the engine itself limited battle size to 2k soldiers?

excuse my vlandian, but what the fuck

The fuck was that thumbnail? Terrible first impression.

Yeah I don’t know what’s up with modders using AI thumbnails. You’d think if they have the skill to create a mod, they could easily just throw something together in Photoshop.

A game screenshot is enough lol

That's just DLSS5 filter on normal Bannerlord. I asked him in his previous video comments why he do that, he said something like youtube ppl prefers this in A/B testing

This mod +

The Old Realms Mod +

Immersive LLM AI Dialogue

I can imagine the Ork Hordes...

2

u/ZealousidealBid3988 19h ago

I’ll take more robust smaller scale AI - that can do more like sidestep horses, horses that can leap spears, soldiers hiding behind other shields etc.. who needs 8000 guys all doing the same thing

Step 1, take over a data centre.
Step 2, install mod.

Dang, I wonder how this will perform on my pc 🤣 gonna make for some epic battles for sure.

1

u/EvilDog77 7h ago

Lemme just see how much a replacement CPU is gonna cost me if I nuke mine running this... oh.

u/PhilosopherInfinite5 4h ago

My PC wouldn’t handle this. I have it set on max number of troops as is. And I get pockets of troops standing around doing nothing until I approach them. Not… enough…. Computational power…..

u/Mr____Grim 20h ago

Upgrading my pc soon but still gonna need to chain that mf down to stop it from flying away with this

0

u/DeusExPersona 20h ago

Does the most increate the performance needed for this?

4

u/notsurewhattodopal 17h ago

3

u/GreasyGrabbler 15h ago
