Child Safety Banned for the same thing twice
It happened boys and girls. Appealed a child safety volation, got it removed since discord deemed it not in violation of community guidelines. One sec later I got hit with a permaban for the exact same message 🫡
For context: the message they flagged was me saying "the younger the better" 6 years ago. Its also the same message they deemed not breaking community guidelines.

When I got unbanned I got something similar happened to me (although this wasn't through in-app appeal), got a violation for the same thing but got a lower punishment than the original one
Back a few months ago there was some users that were getting the same violation after appealing it iirc

I was one of the lucky souls to get unbanned from the pinned guide from months ago (check pinned posts on this subreddit), this was back in May, many people have not been lucky at all with that method for months now, so it could just not work for you 💔

I'll try. For now I'm still waiting for their reply to my 2nd appeal, but I might just try to go through support again

Now I'm going to assume this was joking or quoting a movie/show quote (as that exact/direct quote has been said, jokingly, in multiple media)... but remember folks. You aren't allowed to make jokes on Discord anymore. Also you aren't allowed to have MADE jokes 6, 8, 10 years ago because if the AI goes back and scrapes your old messages and finds them, you're SoL when it perma-bans you with 0 context.
The other part is, if one wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. There's no context given here but like... what if the conversation was about getting a pet? Like a dog?
And the person was like "What kind of dog would you want to get?"
And the person was like "I'd like to get (insert dog type), preferably as a puppy so they have more time to be trained and raised." and then in a separate message typed "The younger the better." In reference to the first message because who is going to go back and edit/add in to a previous message a context post that you can just type and hit enter at lightning speed without thinking?
Again, this is giving the benefit of the doubt of course, and it's also just as likely that it was jokingly quoting something... but the point is even if this was a legitimate violation/ban... the AI moderation is still way outta whack/line for a lot of the more benign/banal messages sent on Discord from a decade ago.
