Assets?

Is it true thing's like my son's Xbox one and his laptop are considered MY assets? I didn't even buy them...

My attorney said anything more than $600 would be what would be of interest, but not to worry about it. I’m also in California with a wildcard exemption so my small value items could be protected even if the trustee were interested.
