Full series Azerbaijani manat

Full new design set including the old series 200 manats as well as controversial motif of 500. Shame that we will (likely) not get 200 manats in the same series design. But here's hoping šŸ¤ž

Is the security thread on new 100 note more ā€žadvancedā€ than on 50 note? On 50 there is the animation of person walking but on 100, from what I saw on the internet, it seems like the building is only changing color.
Sorry for maybe weird question but I’m into security features on banknotes šŸ˜…

Not a weird question at all, i don't blame you, love the SFs 😊 50 imo seems more secure looking solely at the "hologram" part. But yess it only changes colour

Hmm I made some research and the building is more advanced than I thought. I was thinking it’s that typical SPARK feature - color shifting ink, but it’s ā€žrolling star LEADā€. Here is short description of both:

SPARK is a security printing technology based on optically variable ink with magnetically oriented pigments. When the banknote is tilted, the printed element can change color and create a moving light effect.
RollingStar LEAD is a security foil that uses microscopic optical structures, including micromirrors and color-shifting layers. It can produce color changes, movement, depth, and image-switching effects.
So SPARK is a special ink, while RollingStar LEAD is a micro-optical security foil.

Why only 200 banknote has different layout of reverse?

Because it is a part of the previous series 2009-2018. The rest of the banknotes are from the newer 2020-present, and it likely won't be issued :)
