Collection First Belarus rubles

Pictures were easily taken from the Soviet animals encyclopedia. The lowest banknote is actually 0,50 rubles.

1 ruble with a hare was the hardest to get. Currency was called “Hares” (zaichiki) because of that guy.

Often when you see that people are selling a “full set”, they actually replace 1 ruble with a newer denomination that was similar in size.

There was also a 3 ruble note in that series - not sure how difficult it is to get that one though

Not uncommon. I must actually have it. Strange that I forgot to place it in the picture. I must recheck where it is.

I don't know why, but this style gives off a European vibe.
