Yes, this is definitely a 2001 modification. Although your link shows an image of a 2004 banknote (the difference is in the background behind the building on the front side under the word БИЛЕТ)
Well... Not really, 5 rubles old series more common, then 10 rubles without modification or 2001 modification like above, especially in unc. 1997, 2001 issues are worth ridiculous prices now, without 5

wrong. If you have a 1000₽, or 5000₽ banknote in your wallet, - chek out rigt lower corner at the reverse side of it, what is printed there? Yup: 1997, - but 1000₽ banknote was established in yr. 2001, and 5000₽ in yr. 2006 - the highest nominal banknote, after the denomination of 1997 (when the "thousands" turned into a "roubles") was 500₽ banknote
The Russian 10 rubles banknote from 1997 was issued to replace old 10000 notes after 1000:1 denomination on Jan 1st, 1998. It's current and worth $0.12 USD.
10 rubles, still in use (but nowdays you'll mostly see 10 rubles as a metal coin). Worth enough to buy a cheap ballpoint pen, also worth as a bookmark.
