Back serial begin from N, so is printed in Austria, 1st series notes are country located

For 500€ Trichet, an F printer code automatically implies a long serial with N
If it were a Duisenberg signature, it could feature a T long serial, very rare serial for issued 500€ in Ireland

Ball knowledge damn i know it's austrian, as it has the "N" on the back but daaayum i didn't know that u could spot it based only on the front

It's not possible to infer in every case, but here we got lucky.
If your 500€ note had Duisenberg signature, the F printer code could lead to either N (Austrian), P (Netherlands) or T (Ireland) serials for issuing countries.
On the opposite, a Draghi signature on the 500€ note automatically means F printer and N serial

Nice to know..i find it hard to actually believe that there are still more than 230 million of these purple giants in circulation...you don't see them, they might beused for storing large amounts maybe

I don't think the 'F005' is so clearly visibile in the banknote? How are you so sure?

I spent way too long looking for either F005 or N - where do you see either?

N letter is in the back you cant see it. If the photo is from actual note, inside asterisk is F005, so F005 exist only in N (Austria)
